Two Options To Work Together

1.  Refer your clients with rugs to Distinctive and receive a 10% referral reward for each new client you refer.

The simplest option is to refer your customers to us when they ask about rug cleaning.  You or your client can get an instant price estimate on our website.  Your client will admire your ability to be in the know and help them with any home related cleaning tasks.

In our computer system, we assign a lead source to every new account so we can easily keep track of who you refer and what services we provided.  The referral reward can be provided in a variety of ways based on what the company owner prefers.

No need to worry about referring your client to us – a carpet cleaning competitor – because we intentionally created Distinctive Rug Cleaning to be separate from Distinctive Cleaning & Restoration.  The two “divisions” are totally separated from the homeowners perspective.  Distinctive Rug Cleaning has a different and unique logo, website, phone number, voicemail, email and business card.  We will not market our on-location residential or commercial cleaning/restoration services to any clients you refer to us for rug cleaning.  We just want to clean rugs!

• Protector, moth treatment, Tyvek wrapping, or washing existing rug pad regular price: $1.00/square foot
• Wholesale price:  $.75/square foot
  
  
• New in-stock rug pad regular price:  $2.50/square foot
• Wholesale prices: $1.875/square foot for wholesale price.  (You won’t be charged sales tax if you charge your customer sales tax and provide us with a completed General Sales Tax Exemption Certificate Form ST-105.)

Exceptions – Additional costs apply for extreme soiling, staining, pet urine odor, pre-existing dye bleed color correction, Navajo rugs, silk rugs, sheepskins, cowhides, wet rugs and rugs wider than 14 feet.

Bonus Rebate Reward

• You may also qualify for an additional 2.5% rebate at the end of the year if you bring us between $5,000 – $9,999 in revenue in a calendar year.  That is only two rugs a month at an average size of 75 square feet!
• We will increase the rebate to 5% if you bring us over $10,000 in revenue in a calendar year.  That is only four rugs a month at an average size of 75 square feet.
• Your rebate can be redeemed for future cleaning credit or a gift card of your choice.

You Are Responsible For:

1. Pre-inspection – Visit our pre-existing conditions page to learn what to be on the look out for. Understand the limitations of what can be done with tufted rugs without delaminating them.
2. Communication –  You are responsible for all communication with your customer.  We can coach you on what to ask and say, but we are not responsible for communicating directly with your customer.
3. Transportation – You bring the rug to our facility and unload it, then load and pick it up when done.  We can provide you with a specific code for our reception door so you can drop off or pick up rugs at any time it is convenient for you even if we are closed.  We are centrally located close to downtown Fort Wayne.  Rugs not picked up within 30 days after completion will incur storage fees of $1 per day per rug.  We can put the rug in a plastic sleeve to ensure it stays clean during transportation until it gets back to the customer.  Plastic is only temporary for transportation and is not for long term storage. 
4. Liability – Should any claim arise, you agree to share 50/50 in any liability when taking advantage of our wholesale program.
5. Payment – Payment is required before rugs can be picked up.  We will email you an organized, itemized invoice.
   1. Preferred payment method is to have your bank ACH info on file.
   2. Bring a paper check when picking up rugs.
   3. We can keep your credit card on file but there will be an additional 3% fee.
6. Clearly identifying your rugs.  Any tags that you attach to identify which rugs belong to which customer, must be Tyveck.  We can provide you with some blank Tyveck tags.  You can attach tags with a strong clip, tagging gun or thin metal strand.  Since paper tags will fall apart and color can bleed off, we will remove these tags and rewrite information on a Tyveck tag.

Any and all repairs are quoted at our facility.  All rugs that are repaired must also be cleaned by us prior to repair.

Rugs are measured and rounded to the nearest half foot (including fringe), then the total square feet is rounded to the nearest whole number for invoicing purposes.   Example: a rug that is exactly 3 ft. 2 inches x 6 ft 4 inches would be 3×6.5=19.5, which would be rounded to 20 square feet.

Typical turnaround time is approximately 1-3 weeks depending on when our rug wash day is scheduled.  During our busy season (May-December) and/or if your rug has challenging stains to remove or repairs to complete, it may take longer.  If your rug needs returned sooner than 3 weeks, a rush fee may apply.  When all rugs on your order are complete, we will contact you, there is no need to call us asking when rugs will be ready.

Distinctive Cleaning & Restoration reserves the right to accept or decline retailers into the wholeseale program and to change terms of the wholesale program at any time if necessary.
